Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra

M. Eugene Williams, Clarinet

M. Eugene Williams is in his 16th season as second clarinet with Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra. Gene was second clarinet with the Omaha Symphony for six years and continues with the Omaha Symphony as an extra. For 17 summers, Gene has performed as Principal Clarinet with the Lakeside, Ohio, Summer Symphony. He also played seven seasons with the Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra. He earned his DMA from the University of Michigan in Clarinet Performance and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Houston and Bradley University. He teaches for the Omaha Public Schools and at home.
