Kimball Recital Hall

Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3 opens a celebration of the musical hero. LSO’s own principal trumpet player Michael Thompson performs the bold and tuneful Concerto for Trumpet by Armenian composer Alexander Arutunian. A tribute to heroism would not be complete without Beethoven’s monumental Eroica Symphony.
